Serving as the primary sound lead for a senior capstone short film, responsible for capturing production audio and building supporting sound elements for post-production.

Production Sound Responsibilities

  • Recorded dialogue and environmental sound during principal photography

  • Managed audio capture using limited equipment while maintaining vocal clarity

  • Monitored levels in real time to prevent distortion and unusable takes

  • Adapted microphone placement based on framing and movement constraints

Sound Design & Post Support

  • Built environmental ambience layers to support tone and atmosphere

  • Created and integrated Foley and SFX elements where needed

  • Delivered organized audio files for editorial workflow

  • Collaborated with the production team to align sound with narrative pacing
